Taco ?

Hello again, thanks for joining me, it’s good to have you here. It gets lonely without having friends to eat with, so i appreciate you dropping by. Tonight, we are making a quick and easy ground beef based recipe that will leave you asking yourself is it a tostada? Is it crispy taco? Does it really matter? Either way it’s quick, easy, tasty, and just right for a fast evening meal.

I started by taking some of the seasoned ground beef that I had left over from the poblano burgers and spreading a thin layer on top of the tortilla. You can use any ground meat you have, just make sure to season it  appropriately so that your meal is not overly bland. Place this meat side down on a hot cast-iron skillet with just a little bit of oil to make sure nothing sticks. Cook until your meat is thoroughly done and the edges of your tortilla or crispy. Flip your tortilla over and fry until crispy. During the last minute or so of cooking add a slice of cheese to the top of the meat. I used sliced Havarti, partly because of the flavor, partly because it was in the fridge. Feel free to use your favorite cheese here as long as it melts easily. As soon as the cheese is melted and gooey, and the tortillas is crispy, remove from the skillet And transfer to your plate. On top of the cheese, I placed a row of jalapeños, spoon on some pico that I had made today, and topped with a spicy mayo sauce. Only a few minutes time your dinner creation is done. Now the choice is yours, do you fold it and eat like a taco? Or grab a fork and eat like a tostada? Personally, I fold it and eat it like a crispy taco.

Thanks for sharing dinner with me tonight, it was good to have you here. Feel  free to drop a commente, tell me how you would improve this, or what to drink with it. Also, don’t forget to click the link to follow the blog
