I have been struggling with the idea of opening my own restaurant here in our little town of Kemmerer. A couple revisions of menus have been done, building styles have been looked at, but I think I have finally decided on what to do. I revised the menu *again* and have decided on a homestyle eatery as opposed to a diner. Customers would be served from roughly 5am to 10pm and in addition to breakfast we will offer 2 daily entrees that will come with soup\salad, bread, drinks, and desert all included in the menu price. Both lunch and dinner portions will be available. I got started on the business plan *again* last night and hopefully will have it finished soon so I can work on the funding issue. I hope everything comes together quickly! I am told the place that I want to put the building will go up for sale soon, so if I don't get my stuff together soon I am going to be in trouble. . .
I LOVE this idea! That would be a wonderful thing to have here. Let me know if you need any new recipe ideas. We love to dutch oven!
ReplyDeleteFor now I am looking at starting doing a little catering in the evenings while going through the startup process for the restaurant. In theory, I will be catering to the hotel guests for supper. That will help let me know what kind of customer base to expect from them. I am excited!
