Saturday Dinner

Food. I love it!!  I also really enjoy cooking for my family.  In this blog I will chronicle my attempts to produce food for not only my wife but my four kids also.  As everyone knows cooking for children can be interesting.  Our kids range in age from almost 8 to almost 2 years in age which means they both like and hate everything you will put on the table with a few rare exceptions.  Tonight's dinner will be a beef vegetable soup with garlic toast made primarily from left overs.  Our ingredients were:
6 cups of water with 3 bullion cubs
left over roast beef from the stuffed mock tenderloin I made last night
1 carrot and 1 stalk of celery left over from the salad
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup shredded cabbage left over from the bigos I made night before last
3 potatoes also left over from last night
Perhaps a good name for this soup would be 'leftover delight' :)
